And people would have nearly no grounds to gripe about it.

The most common argument we'd hear is:

"There are too many minis on the ground!"

And come on, let's face it, that's pretty easy to shoot down.

I am not forgetful just lazy. It was suggested once before to get a slot like cape or helm that we can put the pet in for display.

You know I like that idea much better. That would be very easily implementable, and a good way to either take it out when you want, or take it out permanently.

People also aren't taking into account the fact that not everyone has a mini, and not everyone who has a mini necessarily wants it following them 24/7. Sure, you can get pigs and whiptails for a song these days, but how many people do you see with one trailing along behind? :P

It's just a simple, fun idea for those of us who love and collect minis but tend to activate them from storage and forget about it.

If you love your Mini Pet drop it down outside and set it free
If it comes back it's yours
If it doesn't you just got done over by a scammer...........

Oh where was I ?
oh yeah
/unsigned silly idea if you have a few in your inventory.

Not enough.
Thanks to laziness, there are pulleys, and trucks, and elevators, and balpens and telephones and ...

In the game, there is instant travel, just 20 levels, skill unlocking, autotarget, autoattack, templates...

You could go on forever.

Laziness makes things easier and better.

Yes, this suggestion is for those that are lazy to bother in clicking the pet anytime they zone, but it's because doing so it's annoying and bothersome, and annoyance and bother are not things what games are made for.

So anything that eliminates bothersome, it's a good idea.

Hmmm... Why not offer a hide/show option for "equipped minipets" (like for the cape and helmet) for instanced areas only? That would eliminate the potential pet overcrowding problem in towns.

Just a thought. My only pet is a mini-siege turtle and looks pretty damn ridiculous, so I never use it.

Plus, if you could "equip" the minipet, it would free up a slot in your inventory.

DANG IT!
you trumped my plan, I never considered it. I mean its out of this world that someone in gw owns more than one minipet XD!

Solution:

Right click > automatically take out (greyed out if another minipet already has this set on your character)

Where is the line between lazy and convenience? This is way more convenient than anything

Lazy is "I don't want to type my essay so I'm just going to buy one off the internet." Convenient is "I'm going to type my essay on a computer instead of a typewriter."

this is just like cape and head gear, always show, show in town, show in combat et cetera. i don't think its lazy. just use the code for the cape and head gear on the pet, easy in my opinion.

Ya, they could just add a new box to the armor section of the inventory screen where you drop your favorite pet! It would automatically take out the pet in the mission or town(or not if there are already 20 pets in the town).

I've been wanting something like this for a while!

For example, a player could check or un-check a box (located in the options menu or character interface) that would allow Miniature Pets to be automatically taken out, or not automatically taken out. This way, you could still double click on your miniatures to take them out if you do not want it to be taken out automatically.

I only hope it will actually get implemented.
